Caitlyn Nguyen

Caitlyn Nguyen is a second generation Certified Massage Therapist and Holistic Health Practitioner. She graduated from Healing Hands School of Holistic Health after transitioning from the field of international education and traditional healthcare to holistic healthcare. After receiving her Bachelor's degree with Honors in Integrated Educational Studies and Leadership Studies from Chapman University, Caitlyn was awarded the U.S. State Department's prestigious Fulbright Scholarship to live and teach in northern Vietnam. While abroad in Asia, she was first exposed to the utilization of acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) techniques in their healthcare systems which spurred her to pivot into massage therapy.

Caitlyn's guiding compass in her massage practice relies on three main tenets: Education, Self-Awareness, and Holistic Impact. She believes that education is a tool that can bring patients to understand themselves better, thus facilitating their own healing on a level that can go beyond "just getting a massage." At the end of the day, she believes a person who is happier, more pain-free, and in-tune with themself is going to be a human that has the capacity to love more, give more, and do more good for others.

Caitlyn has extensive training in various massage modalities both within and outside of the realm of women's health and fertility. Within women's wellness, Caitlyn performs Pre- and Perinatal Massages that include techniques for relaxation, deep tissue sculpting, lactation support, labor induction, optimal positioning, C-section scar work, and bereavement. For fertility, Caitlyn is a certified Tul'Ix Indigenous Arts Practitioner to provide Arvigo(R) Mayan Abdominal Massage, which is an indigenous bodywork practice that supports reproductive health, digestion, and uterine positioning which can help support women trying to conceive both naturally and via ART, such as IVF. Finally, she provides Lymphatic Drainage and Reiki treatments to support detoxification and energy balance, which is often helpful to clear out the body post egg retrieval and prepare it pre-embryo transfer.

Outside of women's wellness, Caitlyn provides Therapeutic Massages which focuses on pain management and postural efficiency in the body, using Structural Organization techniques (similar to Rolfing), Myofascial Release (MFR), and Dynamic Cupping, with some TCM influences from Zen Shiatsu and Tui Na Acupressure. For relaxation, she provides the classic Swedish Circulatory Oil Massage. Caitlyn is trained in Oncology Massage as well and can provide modifications if a person has history of cancer.
