Elizabeth Goodman

Elizabeth is a graduate of Healing Hands School of Holistic Health. Her strong background in Reiki, Yoga, Myofascial Meridians, and Traditional Chinese Meridians has helped her become a knowledgeable, intuitive healing facilitator. Working in the field since 2015, Elizabeth is passionate about combining various modalities for optimal therapeutic bodywork. Her trauma-informed care and deep trust in body wisdom inform her grounded guidance. From there, your unique makeup of body, breath, and emotional patterns reveals your own innate healing process.

She grew up right here in Orange County. At 3 years old, she was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, Hashimoto’s, and then Endometriosis in her pre-teens. Elizabeth has come to know the human body as the greatest challenge yet greatest teacher. Spirit, emotions, hormones, organ function, and the physical structures give the lessons. As a humble student, she worked at a holistic veterinary clinic where she studied Reiki and was first exposed to the whole holistic world. Her creative interest in historic body stories led her down a path of costume history. She received her MA from Columbia in museum anthropology and worked in some of the finest costume museums. Well into her career, her own body story brought her back to holistic health. Over the years, in New York and across the globe, she’s studied bodywork, TCM, Ayurveda, Yoga, dance and somatic movement, meditation, and ecological living.

Elizabeth believes that we are nature. And healing through touch is one of the most natural, timeless medicines. In addition to her “Traditional Chinese meets Myofascial Meridian” approach, she offers Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Prenatal + Postpartum, Sacred Lomi Lomi Hawaiian Massage, fire cupping, and somatic movement techniques. She’s had the honor of hosting lectures, leading a somatic movement workshop, and assisting courses on Shiatsu and Ayurvedic massage.
